Carlton Senior Living is Celebrating 40 Years
For four decades, Carlton Senior Living has built a legacy of excellence, shaped by the vision of founders Tom MacDonald and Dr. Don Engle
This milestone honors the unwavering dedication of our residents, families, and staff, whose shared commitment has helped Carlton grow from its first community in Pleasant Hill to 11 vibrant communities across Northern California. Guided by the Carlton Commitments to Love, Honor, and Provide, this incredible journey reflects the values that have made Carlton Senior Living a trusted leader in senior careāand will continue to inspire us for generations to come.
We are honored to commemorate this achievement with a monthlong celebratory tour across all our communities. Carltonās President and CEO, Dave Coluzzi, who has led the organization for nearly a decade, will personally join each community to celebrate this milestone.
Instead of a 40th Anniversary celebration, Carlton Concord will host a grand reopening of the remodeled dining room and lobby in April.
With gratitude, we reflect on the care and commitment that have shaped 40 years of Carlton Senior Living. Together, we look forward to continuing this legacy for generations to come.
Celebrating 60 Years Together: Ivan and Iris Share Their Story
Ivan and Iris Seppala celebrated their 59th anniversary in May of 2021. The same month they moved from their Clayton home of 47 years toĀ Carlton Senior Living Pleasant Hill ā Martinez.
